I think i may have a glass fragment in my eye?

I think that I might have a fragment of glass in my eye. I am not in pain, but feel something in my eye sometimes and it can be a sharp pain. My eye is also sore. Is it possible for the doctor or hospital to remove fragments from the eye of such nature?
